Born and raised in Matoaca, Jim completed his education at the Chesterfield Technical Center. After school, Jim was a successful Sales Coordinator and Outside Salesman for two large lumber contractors in the Tri-Cities area. Working in the lumber industry was a natural fit, as Jim is the son of a carpenter and has worked for his family’s carpentry business since he was old enough for his Dad to put a hammer in Jim’s hand. Working as a carpenter helped Jim to develop his exceptional eye for details.
When Jim isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and a blended family of four children and eight grandchildren. He attends church regularly as faith is a family priority!
